Blog 411

This blog was created for our friends and family who don't get to see us -- well, Jonathan and Elise, really -- as often as they'd like. I'm trying to keep you all updated on their milestones and their day-to-day activities. I also hope this will serve as sort of a journal for them as well, something for them to read when they are older that chronologues their lives and adventures. When I can, I'll post pictures and maybe even videos to help bridge the distance.

This blog is Part 2 of the Life of the Hardwicks. This edition will focus on our new lives in Atlanta, GA, that began in July 2013.

2014_03_03 Monday

From Elise's school:
A new month and a new theme - growing!  X  loved doing a painting of roots with gooey noodles.  X explained to everyone that roots go into the dirt and find water for trees.  X and X exhibited great balance doing different variations of tree pose in yoga.  X applied our lesson to everything she did today.  She made flowers, trees and roots in magnets and white board. Then she chose spring books for the reading tent. During Chinese X and Elise participated excitedly and gave great answers.  We played a cool, but kinda tricky counting game. I was already impressed when X  put the correct number of sticks in bin 1 through 9 - then she did it backwards!
