Today was our last day of "growing and knowing". All of our seeds are planted and our beautiful pots are sitting on the windowsill. Now we wait. X and X completed our garden with their choices of daisies and morning glories. In circle time Elise taught us a new word when she described her visit to the PLANETARIUM. X already knew that planetariums teach you about outer space because he goes to the one at Fernbank. X led the calendar lesson and told us that it is almost April - her birthday month! She also explained that tomorrow is Saturday and that's good because on Saturday you don't have to do any work. In centers X and X mastered some advanced geometry ;) They explored angles and lines on the geo boards. X sat down at the letter center with a sigh and said, "I've been practicing my letters for years and years".
Jonathan was a Star Student this week: yeah! So, we walked over to his favorite restaurant, and shared the good news with our waiter. While there, I had a beer and gave it to Jonathan to color. He was very confused that I got one since "those are wine coasters."
David flew up to his mom's for the weekend to help with Bob's estate.
