From Elise's school:
Everyone worked hard in centers this morning...X worked on her "lobster grip" while tracing all the hidden "W"s and "V"s on treasure island. X used the frog book to put all of the pieces in order for the life stages of a frog - after we figured out that the "big glob of clear eyeballs" was actually frog eggs. X copied the example of the flower sequencing cards perfectly, coloring each card and putting them in the correct order. X was having a hard time reaching the tangrams that she needed, but X thoughtfully came to the rescue since he is "so tall". In circle time we talked about St. Patrick's Day. X shared that a leprechaun came to her house when it was nighttime and messed everything up. We also read a book about moths and butterflies. Elise did a great job explaining the word "hibernate" to everyone. X fell in love with Biscuit the therapy dog, who came for a visit today. He helped everyone remember to be gentle and talked about how cute and sweet Biscuit was all during lunch.
Blog 411
This blog was created for our friends and family who don't get to see us -- well, Jonathan and Elise, really -- as often as they'd like. I'm trying to keep you all updated on their milestones and their day-to-day activities. I also hope this will serve as sort of a journal for them as well, something for them to read when they are older that chronologues their lives and adventures. When I can, I'll post pictures and maybe even videos to help bridge the distance.
This blog is Part 2 of the Life of the Hardwicks. This edition will focus on our new lives in Atlanta, GA, that began in July 2013.
